It was fifteen years yesterday Shane that granddad left us , so I have been up to the cemetery today with Jade bless her, we were there for a few hours , yesterday when I was at work Evette scrubbed your stone for me , and today Jade repainted it for you , she did such a lovely job to it when she finished it was shining . When she was painting away I sat on phil clacks seat watching her , deep in thought about what should and shouldn't be , Jade is so sweet and kind, but how hard it must have been for her painting as me watching her do it, so not right boy life has been cruel. Charmaine and Evette came up a little bit later we sat and had a sandwich when Jade finished, luckily there was no one else about or they might have thought we were having a picnic . When I walked up to dads there were a couple of pheasants running around , one flew over my head I could just imagine you laughing , saying he nearly had you muvver . Anyway when we left your memorial plot was looking lovely boy freshly done with new flowers as well cant believe its over four and a half years since we lost you, miss you every bit as much now as then , time isn't mending my heart at all , the sadness inside will never leave me Shane. love you miss you so very very much xx mum xx
