Ros and I would like to thank everyone for their support at the Mad Hatters Tea party. We are overwhelmed by the generous donations and contributions towards such amazing raffle prizes. Just a short time away from christmas didn't put people off digging deep down to the last 50p whip round for the entertainment (you had to be there). Such dreadful weather too and still people came. Probably for the beautiful spread of food that Ros prepared to feed the five thousand, of course you know that I am the cook really (I WISH !!) Give yourselves a pat on the back and be proud that you have helped to support the search for a vaccine and promote meningitis awareness. Hopefully one day we can prevent any future grief for others. This virus does not discriminate against anyone. Far too many of you to thank individually, but heart felt thanks to Steve Dayman for travelling such a distance and giving my family a focus.
